    Description

    Ranney School seeks a Middle and Upper School French Teacher for the School Year. This position will teach French classes between the Middle School Intermediate level (mostly Grade 7 students) up through AP French Language & Culture (mostly Grade 12 students).

    Primary Job Responsibilities:

    • Teach five sections of Middle and Upper School French
    • Facilitate in the Upper School's "Maymester" program, an experiential education program that takes place over the last two weeks of the school year.
    • In addition to a full-time schedule, faculty mentor students in advisory and co-curricular activities, participate in division and department meetings, and serve in various supervisory roles.
    • Developing strong relationships with students and colleagues is critical for one's success at Ranney and for the school's successful accomplishment of its mission to "know and value every child." About Ranney School:

      Ranney School is an Age 3-Grade 12 independent, college preparatory school based in Tinton Falls, NJ. Our school serves a diverse body of approximately 770 students from across Monmouth & Ocean Counties on the northern New Jersey shore.

      Candidates will ideally have an advanced degree in French, French education, or a related field and experience teaching middle and high school.
