Role Summary
Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Middle School/Tutorial House Principal and the Director of Modern Languages.
Position Purpose
French Language B Teacher (Foreign Language Acquisition)
- Seeking an experienced French educator with a background in International Baccalaureate (IB) teaching in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
- This is a fulltime position.
- This teacher will be a part of a collaborative department with an internationally focused curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include teaching French Language B to students from Middle School to High School.
- Supervising students during noninstructional time, attending curriculum and grade level meetings.
- Other duties as assigned and in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement (e.g. supervision duties, office hours, etc.)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required (Master's Degree preferred)
- Experience in a K12 educational environment essential
- Five years teaching experience, preferably in an international setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of current research in Middle School and High School language education
- Experience with best practices in assessment and reporting best practices preferred (e.g. Standard-Based Grading and Reporting)

$66,093 to $109,243 (prorated for part-time, temporary positions)_
