    Description

    Reporting to the VP of Sales/Ops for a transportation and logistics company.

    The Sales Representative is responsible for coordinating with the Director of Sales and Business Development on industry needs. Researches and identifies potential customers. Effectively communicates business to current and potential customers throughout Mexico, the US Midwest Region, and Canada. Demonstrates the company's product in a positive and mutually beneficial way to customers. Assists with customer bids and marketing materials. Evaluates and processes RFPs & RFQs. Onboards new customers, ensuring a smooth transition. Grows load counts with current customers. Brings solutions to the table for closing new business, knowing when to escalate. Coordinates complete sales cycle process including prospect list initiation, lead generation, prospect qualification, analysis, and presentation(s), start-up, and customer service follow-up after the sale.

    Travel 25%.

    Background Required:

    • Transportation sales (5 years)
    • Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Transportation industry & JIT Freight
    • Prior experience within USMCA (formerly NAFTA)
    • Proven hunter sales mentality
    • Sales tools to generate prospects & new business (i.e. ZoomInfo)
    • Time & territory management reporting process
    • Proven track record of producing profitable growth
    • Demonstrated ability closing new business
    • Pricing logic & analysis
    • National account exposure
    • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
    • Residence: Dallas, Texas (Home office environment)

    Background Preferred (but not required):

    • Fluency in Spanish, a plus
    • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree
