    • ?This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
    • Responsible for providing test automation services related to system test strategies and solutions that incorporate industry standard techniques, strategies, and processes. Also, responsible for planning, designing, creating, and executing automated test suites for multiple applications with supervision by team leads.

    What you'll do


    • Design, write, and maintain automated test scripts for multiple applications within the product team using Java with REST Assured, Cypress IO, JMeter, etc.
    • Provide engineering support, mentor, and review testing approach and test scripts of team members
    • Collaborate with product team to plan, develop, and maintain automation functional, regression and performance test suites
    • Adhere to testing best practices and security guidelines
    • Troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions
    • Participate in the entire testing project lifecycle from requirements to test executions
    • Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance benchmark performance success metrics and measure all future product releases against those standards
    • Develop plans, procedures, and programs to monitor and evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the system and ensure performance and standards are maintained
    • Learn about and implement new technologies to improve application performance and security posture
    • Actively communicate testing status, including schedule, risks, issues, defects, and potential impact
    • Collaborate with leaders, analysts, IT architects, technical leads, developers, and other QA engineers, along with internal customers, to understand requirements and test applications that meet business requirements

    Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
    • 5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience working alongside product ownership and software engineers to build, test, and automate testing of large-scale applications in hosted production environments

    Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience


    • ?Airline Industry experience, including business systems and technology
    • 8 years of IT and software testing experience
    • Crew application support experience

    Skills, Licenses & Certifications


    • Experience developing test automation framework from scratch by writing Java code using Rest Assured and TestNG framework.
    • Experience in automated test case suite maintenance, including creation of new tests, automated test scheduling, execution, and test logs analysis
    • Hands-on experience incorporating test automation into DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines
    • Experience Testing Angular based web apps (Selenium, Cypress IO)
    • Deep experience with technical testing tools including Rest Assured, Ready API, GIT, Selenium, Cucumber, Postman, Performance Center, JMeter, SoapUI, Azure DevOps
    • Strong coding skills and concepts in Java, JavaScript, Gherkin (BDD), Groovy, Python shell scripts
    • Extensive experience with complex SQL and MongoDB queries
    • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and provide guidance to others
    • Proficiency in eliciting and documenting requirements and performing quality assurance using SDLC best practices and Agile methodologies
    • Understanding of cloud-native development, deployment, and orchestration: containers, Azure cloud
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to effectively adapt to rapidly changing environment
    • Solid judgement and analytical skills, strong follow-through, time management, and organizational skills
    • Ability to explain technical concepts and adjust messaging by audience, including non-technical groups
