    Description

    Job Title: Quality Control Inspector at Quirch Foods

    • Inspecting incoming purchase orders of all proteins for quality and specification compliance.
    • Checking incoming food products for size, packaging, and specifications as per purchase order.
    • Completing a seafood quality control report for direct shipment seafood.
    • Managing daily fresh poultry inventory and creating push sheets for Sales Department.
    • Reviewing and generating weekly reports for fresh and frozen products, creating push lists for sales department.
    • Evaluating and organizing aging product inventory, ensuring proper slotting and rotation.
    • Assessing returned products for quality and issuing credits when necessary.
    • Assisting QA manager and other QC's in daily responsibilities.
    • Conducting daily pre-operational facility inspections for HACCP compliance and maintaining records.
    • Completing required documentation for federal compliance from established HACCP programs.
    • Recording all transfers to miscellaneous daily in the QC network drive with detailed reasons.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Basic understanding of food safety and handling.
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office.
