    Description

    We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Solar Civil QA/QC Lead for a solar project near Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will have a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of civil construction activities for solar projects. Your main responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for civil engineering works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

    Work Week: Around 40 hours per week

    Rotations: Typically every 4 weeks, from Friday to Monday

    Per diem included

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure strict enforcement of health, safety, and environmental protocols across all operational areas, making sure external entities follow established standards.
    • Manage the regular maintenance and implementation of the quality plan, ensuring its consistent application.
    • Proactively identify and resolve any shortcomings in the quality plan, overseeing solutions for seamless project completion.
    • Create comprehensive quality reports and supervise the detailed documentation of QC activities.
    • Maintain rigorous adherence to the quality plan, performing regular assessments to uphold quality standards.
    • Carry out thorough Quality Inspections for civil construction using the Vyn Digital System for accuracy and completeness.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction QA/QC roles, preferably in renewable energy.
    • At least 8 years of QA/QC experience.
    • Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality management systems.
    • Familiarity with photovoltaic solar design and technical standards.
    • Highly organized and effective at team collaboration.
