    Audubon is currently seeking a Process Control Network Specialist to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Process Control Network Specialist will help design, deploy and support Process Control Networks to deliver a Secure and Reliable PCD IT security services.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

    Key Areas of Responsibility will include:

  • Configure firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Arrange scheduled upgrades as part of the run and maintain activities.
  • Investigate faults in the network.
  • Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases as required to ensure hardware component is complaint.
  • Administer the network inventory and ensure that it accurately reflects the current scope and maintain the consistency of the Servicenow/CMDB device information.
  • Handle, review and manage the incident(s), problem(s), Service Request(s) as needed to ensure they are correctly prioritized, scheduled and resolved as per stipulated SLA's and ITIL best practices and guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain SOP(s), knowledge base, documentation of technologies, standards, and procedures.
  • Gather information and facilitate the decision-making process of granting approval for immediate change requests to systems with input from the appropriate teams, understanding the potential impact to production systems prior to approval.
  • Manage business interaction(s) diligently and participate in project activities.
  • EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology.
  • 3+ years' overall relevant work experience.
  • Must have mastery of skills in the configuration and maintenance network security controls that safeguard the process control layer.
  • Knowledgeable in the following concepts: IT Service Management and Integration Support, On-premise and Cloud Hosting, Business Change Management, Continuous Improvement, IT Architecture Information Risk Management and Assurance, and Collaboration Tools.
  • Experience managing and supporting Fortinet Firewalls/Switches.
  • Prior experience in an IT support environment supporting business applications/infrastructure.
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP protocols and IP addressing schemes.
  • Preferred: Cisco certification: CCNA or/and Palo Alto Firewall Certification: PCNSE or/and Fortinet: NSE.
  • Ability to operate in a global, virtual cross-cultural organization, working in different time zones.
  • An analytical mindset and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong technical articulation and documentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to other locations based on the project demand.
