    Description

    Are you ready to have an impact? Join the Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD as a Compliance Audit Manager. The Compliance Audit Manager oversees compliance quality assurance activities and manages the Compliance Auditing department at The Harris Center. This role involves coordinating and implementing a compliance quality assurance program, monitoring the performance of the compliance management system, and producing reports on performance metrics.

    Your responsibilities at a glance:

    • Oversee the Compliance Auditing team.
    • Provide center-wide oversight and consultation.
    • Facilitate Compliance Auditing activities.
    • Conduct investigations, surveys, and prepare reports.
    • Identify training needs and provide relevant training.
    • Monitor performance and assist with quality improvement.
    • Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
    • Track corrective action plans implementation.
    • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
    • Complete required education and training.
    • Perform other assigned duties.

    What qualifications are required:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Master's Degree in Healthcare Management or Public Policy preferred.
    • 5 years of experience managing healthcare compliance projects.
    • Certified Healthcare Auditor or Registered Nurse preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Understanding of State and Federal Regulations in healthcare.
    • Familiarity with Texas Administrative Code and Performance Contract.
    • Strong communication and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Effective leadership and interpersonal abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide exceptional customer service.
