Due to the success of our business, our department in Fountainebleau, FL is expanding.

We are seeking a student to join our team of Platforms Embedded Software Engineers in the Secure Software IP department.

The Secure Software IP team is responsible for creating and testing advanced secure cryptographic libraries that are protected against physical and logical attacks.

These libraries are used across all NXP domains and business lines, including payment, identification, mobile, IoT, automotive, and edge processing.

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and adapt test operating systems for embedded devices
Create and maintain the build environment using tools such as make and cmake
Assist with pre and postsilicon testing
Ensure the functionality of development and testing environments on various platforms

Your Profile:

Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science, Microelectronics Engineering, or a related field
Experience with C programming for embedded systems or Assembly
Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python
Knowledge of build systems and scripting languages
Understanding of standard bus communication protocols (e.g. UART, SPI, I2C)
Ability to debug embedded systems and lowlevel software
Understanding of CPU architecture, preferably ARM or RISC-V
Strong problemsolving skills
Excellent communication skills in English
