    We are in search of a Healthcare Insurance Enroller for a Research and Advocacy Organization located in New York City (Murray Hill). This is a Full-Time, Hybrid, Temporary-to-Permanent position.

    ORGANIZATION: Research and Advocacy

    LOCATION: New York City (Murray Hill)

    POSITION TITLE: Healthcare Insurance Enroller

    SCHEDULE: Full Time (35 hrs./wk.); Hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

    DURATION: Temporary-to-Permanent

    PAY RATE: $28-30/hr. (Temp hourly rate); $63-66K/yr. (Permanent salary)

    Is This Your Dream Position? As the Healthcare Insurance Enroller, you will be responsible for providing high-quality application support to individuals applying for Cash Assistance using the ACCESS HRA client portal.

    Our Ideal Candidate:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Work, or Public Administration preferred
    • In-depth knowledge and experience in Cash Assistance and the ACCESS HRA Client portal (or similar research database) required
    • Experience providing customer service assistance is required preferably through a call center/helpline
    • Strong verbal communication skills, including extensive experience providing customer service is required
    • Ability to provide information in a patient and impartial manner that is culturally and linguistically appropriate, and disability accessible, for the consumers, including individuals with limited English proficiency
    • Ability to work some evening and Saturday hours
    • Fluency in Spanish preferred
    How You Will Spend Your Day:
    • Respond to live calls from Cash Assistance applicants who have questions or concerns about their application for Cash Assistance to ensure a timely response
    • Provide information, education, and navigational services to consumers on how to successfully use the ACCESS HRA when applying for Cash Assistance, including determining any problems with a prior application submitted, compliance with the interview requirement, and missing documentation
    • Provide excellent consumer assistance and offer compassionate support to callers, many of whom may be facing challenging life circumstances
    • Utilize strong communication skills to convey information clearly and accurately to callers
    • Becoming proficient using the new call center system
    • Track client contacts, including case notes, and report on trends in the information requested.
    • Provide substantive support, technical assistance, advice, feedback, and resources to the organization's staff
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance knowledge and skills
