Spherion is hiring for an onsite Accounting Assistant for an accounting firm in Graham, TX. This role will be responsible for managing the front desk and helping with accounting and bookkeeping as needed, so candidates MUST know how to use QuickBooks to qualify. The working schedule is Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, copying, and scanning documents
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and organized
- Prepare and process payments
- Manage and process all payroll
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
- Works well under pressure, is able to multi-task and is detail oriented.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, typing, 10-Key data entry, telephone etiquette and customer service
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QuickBooks
- Basic accounting knowledge
