    Job Position : Construction Manager

    Job Location : Sacramento, CA

    Job Type : Full-time. Direct-hire

    Job Description

    This is a full-time travelling role as a Construction Manager; currently, we have projects in NM, CA, and WI. As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day management and oversight of Solar (PV) construction projects, including supervising personnel and monitoring budgets, schedules, and progress. The Construction Manager will also ensure construction safety procedures are followed, and manage project controls and documentation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage Solar (PV) construction projects from start to finish
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
    • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion
    • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and adherence to safety standards
    • Prepare and submit progress reports to stakeholders
    • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
    • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
    • Proficient in project management software such as Primavera or ProCore
    • Familiarity with construction estimating and cost control techniques
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

    Qualifications

    • Ability to plan, execute, and supervise construction and solar projects from inception to completion.
    • Supervisory skills, including the ability to lead, delegate, and prioritize tasks
    • Budgeting skills and experience managing project finances
    • Expertise in construction safety and OSHA regulations
    • Construction experience and knowledge in excavation, drilling, shoring, and foundations
    • Experience with project controls, including managing schedules, progress, and documentation
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
