    Risk Oversight and Analytics

    • Help provide risk oversight for the NY Global Equity Businesses (Cash Equity, Convertible bonds, Structured products, Delta-1, Corporate Derivatives, Flow etc... )
    • Aid in the management of the market risk reporting process and ensure the accuracy of key risk measurements.
    • Development the risk infrastructure.
    • Implement changes and improvements to the risk processes as required by new regulations and change management. Use own experience and financial knowledge formulate and discuss appropriate solutions.
    • Analyze key trading strategies and products to ensure they are in line with RBCCM risk tolerance and objectives.
    • Review significant transactions to help facilitating business and ensure proper risk controls.
    • Work with trading to ensure a close cohesion on key risk issues: systems, limits, risk management.

    Risk Measurement

    • Investigate risks to provide value-added insight and analysis to senior management on risk trends and concerns.
    • Be the go to person on select designated desks including but not limited to: understanding key risks and P&L changes, soundness and completeness of all the Risk processes, be proactive in the risk control framework development
    • Provide effective challenge and analysis to new transactions and emerging risks

    The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000-$135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
