    • State Employer 2022 What you'll do The Service Line Director, Primary Care Service & Convenient Care provides administrative leadership in collaboration with clinical chiefs, nursing and executive management teams to fulfill day to day system requirements and network strategic initiatives.
    They are accountable for administrative and operational results with responsibility of strategic planning, clinical operations, financial and human resource management, program development, management and promotion, and practitioner recruitment and retention.

    The Service Line Director, Convenient Care also initiates or is assigned responsibility for managing operating system tactical projects to advance departmental and organizational goals.

    They will access and review the organizational structure to position the departments to pursue the mission, vision and network strategic objectives.

    Financial Resource Management (Monthly) 20% Plans, develops and implements the operational budget and assumes accountability to report variances and manage budgets.

    Ensures that all departmental capital and operating budgets are developed in a timely and accurate manner. Ensures that budgets link effectively to the corporate strategic and annual operating plans. Monthly financial analyses are available to dyad chief and executive leaders. Ensures special funds accounts are utilized according to policy.

    Monitors accomplishment of agreed upon objectives at the departmental level; and where appropriate, institutes corrective actions, including reallocating resources, reprioritizing, and/or recommending modifications to established plans.

    Develops service improvements, management systems, expense control programs etc. to ensure achievement of financial objectives. Negotiate annual budgets to maximize financial support for applicable programs. Ensures compliance with reimbursement regulations and provides information to maximize reimbursement funding. Clinical Oversight (if applicable). Accountability (Daily) 20% Prepares a range of written reports relating to department and committee reporting. Accepts responsibility for providing a Just Culture.

    Conducts self in manner to achieve results in ways consistent with the organizational values and provides a constructive example for others to do likewise.

    Fosters quality/cost accountability and systematic outcomes/improvements. Assures progress of projects and committee activities. Creates, develops and implements patient care indicators/strategies to enhance patient care and patient satisfaction. Develops implements and evaluates network policies and procedures to ensure compliance with requirements of regulatory bodies. Responds promptly when service expectations have not been met. Proactively identifies potential and actual safety issues. Adheres to network policies and procedures at all times. System Responsibilities (Daily) 20% Participate in Tiered Escalation Huddles Communicator/Team Builder Effectively communicates both orally and in writing.

    Promotes vision, clarifies values and influences directions of change through teaching others and establishes interdisciplinary partnerships in care through excellent communicator and collaborator roles.

    Participates in community service and education programs that will enhance the delivery of quality patient care throughout the community as well as the hospitals image.

    Works effectively with others; helps others to solve problems; promotes teamwork and cooperation among individuals and/or departments. Displays a positive attitude to patients and/or co-workers: sets a good example to others. Leadership Core Competencies (Daily) 20% Decision Maker Conducts significant planning necessary to coordinate complex programs, services or activities.

    Ensures the effective coordination and allocation of resources within a department Displays an ability to evaluate areas in need of improvement and effectively creates new methods, services, programs or technology within established policies and procedures.

    Appropriately develops evaluations and recommendations based on information gathered by others. Draws appropriate conclusions about alternative approaches. Exercises considerable independent judgment in addressing unusual and sometimes complex problems Effectively applies and interprets policies and procedures.

    Establishes and /or staffs teams for the development of the annual department plan in alignment with the AOP Maintains quality levels and standards as they relate to providing direct and indirect patient care.

    Maintains and respects the confidentiality of any patient employee and/or any other sensitive information.

    Human Resource Management (Daily) 20% Ensures that all employees in the department know what is to be accomplished in their jobs; whether their performance is satisfactory and what they can do to improve performance.

    Supervises department management staff and others within the department, develops mutually agreed upon standards of performance, appraises performance, and provides direction ensuring effective performance of department responsibilities.

    Ensures that employees in the department possess or are developing the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their work.

    Demonstrate the values of teamwork, collaboration, integrity, and compassion in daily operational activities, including adherence to all policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.


    What we need from you Education:
    Requires one of the following Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare Associate's Degree in Healthcare related with 2 additional years of experience Experience may be considered in lieu of education Experience: Minimum 5 years of Management/Leadership experience, required Minimum 3 years of Healthcare experience, required Ambulatory services experience required License/Certification: CMPE or ACHE Certification preferred Skills: Analysis &
    Evaluation Computer Skills Communication Critical Thinking Time Management Physical Requirements:
    Occasional balancing, climbing, crouching, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, standing, stooping, walking, visual acuity (color, depth, perception)

    Pay Range Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.

    The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.


    Pay Range Minimum:
    USD $109,200.00/Yr


    Pay Range Maximum:
    USD $163,779.20/Yr.
