- Develops and monitors clinical procedures and performance standards, which ensure safe, effective and efficient daily clinical operations
- Provides direction/input to Practice/Operations Manager to ensure appropriate resource availability
- Develops strategies and implements objectives to ensure efficient and effective division performance, which correlates with the institutional annual operating plan
- Monitors and reports division clinical performance related to established objectives
- Develops a staff schedule to meet divisional needs
- Provides direction to ensure appropriate distribution of staffing resources
- Directs staff selection through the interview process

- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency requirements in conjunction with the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC Ensures compliance with division and institutional policies and protocols in conjunction with the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC Proactively identifies safety-related issues, addresses identified issues and institutes procedures, which minimize risks to patients and staff
- Reports and acts to correct compliance and risk related issues
- Develops policy within the division, assesses effectiveness of established policies
- Assists the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC in the development and implementation of annual operational and capital budgets
- Reallocates and prioritizes clinical resources
- In collaboration with the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC develops and implements expense control and efficiency mechanisms
- Schedules and directs clinical staff meetings on a regular basis, with standing participation of the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC
- Attends and participates in provider meetings as requested by the Practice Manager - Cardiovascular Services & CVIC or the Service Line Director of CV Services
- Routinely communicates with CVIC providers to assess clinical needs and provide feedback
- Participates in multidisciplinary committees, work groups and teams to facilitate efficient and effective clinical operations and affect safe patient care
- Communicates with the Service Line Director of CV Services and CNO regarding operational objectives, planning, daily clinical operations and regulatory requirements
- Ensures effective documentation systems are established in the provision of patient care
- Identifies areas for clinical performance improvement, plans, and acts and evaluates effectiveness of improvement measures
- Tracks and reports clinical performance improvement activities as appropriate and/or required by institutional guidelines

- 4 year/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, required
- Minimum of 3 years Cardiovascular diagnostic lab experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of direct cardiovascular experience, required

- Current NYS Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, required

What you'll doThe Nurse Manager, CVIC will direct daily clinical operations, and in conjunction with the Practice Manager – Cardiovascular Services & CVIC, implement new programs, enforce compliance standards and develop systems to maximize patient access and provider efficiency in the Cardiovascular Imaging Center. The Nurse Manager will assess for departmental performance improvement, staff selection, procedure room scheduling and staff competency and skill development activities. The Nurse Manager, CVIC will participate in multidisciplinary teams to plan, implement and facilitate systems and programs in the delivery of patient care across the continuum.

Pay Transparency
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards. The above compensation range represents a good faith belief of the compensation range by Bassett Healthcare Network, and its entities and affiliates, at the time of this posting or advertisement.
Pay Range Minimum:USD $95,058.82/Yr.
Pay Range Maximum:
USD $142,588.23/Yr.
