    Junior Portfolio Design Coordinator
    REPORTS TO: Portfolio Design Manager
    STATUS: Exempt

    POSITION SUMMARY: The Junior Portfolio Design Coordinator will collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project completion for multifamily communities. This role entails making critical decisions that will directly impact the design of affordable housing projects, requiring attention to detail, a process-focused mindset, and strong project management skills.
    RELATIONSHIPS: The Portfolio Design Coordinator will closely interact with the Portfolio Design Manager, Marketing Director, Construction Leaders, and Asset Team members on a daily basis.
    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Collaborate with vendors, construction leaders, and design firms.
    • Manage project constraints and deadlines effectively.
    • Demonstrate accountability and proficiency in project performance.
    • Review and meet development requirements as per state regulations.
    • Utilize various communication channels daily.
    • Perform administrative tasks as necessary.
    RELATED JOB COMPETENCIES:
    Communication - Effectively convey information verbally and in writing.
    Collaboration - Work cooperatively with others and maintain strong relationships.
    Follow-Up - Monitor results and details to meet business needs.
    Organization - Must be highly organized and detail-oriented to handle multiple design projects and support various teams.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related field preferred.
    • Preferred experience in interior design.
    • 3–5 years of Project Management experience.
    • Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Travel requirement less than 10%.
    • Availability to work 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
