    Description

    We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform all Accounts Receivable functions. This includes:
      • Preparing daily deposits.
      • Applying cash receipts.
    • Perform all Accounts Payable functions. This includes:
      • Coding invoices for managers' approval.
      • Prepare invoices for payments
    • Review general ledger and research discrepancies relating to financials-cash receipts, A/P checks, owner distributions, or mortgage wires.
    • Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules for all fixed assets.
    • Provide Preliminary General Ledger to Property Managers for review at month-end.
    • Maintain files and records.
    • Other duties may be assigned.
    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    • Accounting classes with two years experience preferred.
    • Preferred real estate property management experience but not required.
    • Knowledge of property management software.
    • Proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel & Outlook.
    Pay: $55,000 - $75,000 per year
