    Description
    Corrpro Companies is looking for a Corrosion Technician Manag to join our team. Position is based out of our Philadelphia office.

    Corrpro, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, is among the largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure.

    Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies.

    Responsible for direction and coordination of Corrosion technical services and manage Corrosion Technicians for the RegionDevelop and implement standard operating procedures for technical staffPlan and direct field efforts for effective coordination with salesInteract with customers on technical issues requiring specialized skills or data interpretationMonitor technical aspects of system installations and resolve technical difficultiesSpecify and initiate procurement of field instrumentationOrganize, schedule, coordinate, and assign staff to projects to obtain most effective utilization of resources and meet commitments to customersReview preliminary survey, design data, and proposals with engineering staffDiscuss project objectives, specify expectations, suggest appropriate methods and proceduresDirect technical activities to successfully complete project within time/budgetary estimatesVisit jobsites to provide technical guidance to ensure successful execution of the workReview and edit reports, discuss, implement and recommend revisions, and ensure all documents are technically correctQUALIFICATIONSNACE CP Certifications requiredAssociates Technical Degree in Engineering Technology or related, preferred8 years of cathodic protection experience2 years of supervisory experienceStrong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and empower; strong communicator with ability to take initiative, function independently, make decisions; and comfortable in a management positionExperience working with complex spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint/Nitro Pro.
