Once the joint venture is formed, VPP provides support and leadership for marketing, financial, operations, IT and human resources functions while the veterinarian leads the clinical and client services functions.

VPP is searching for an experienced and talented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. The position will be responsible for credentialed & non-credentialed veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants in their assigned region.

This is a full lifecycle recruiting position which requires experience managing the entire recruiting process, primarily for technicians and other hospital positions.


Qualifications (Education & Experience):


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years of recruiting experience, managing end to end recruiting processes.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with various sourcing tools and technologies.
  • Experience with highvolume recruiting is preferred.
  • Must have the ability and desire to stay abreast of veterinary market conditions.

Preferences:


  • Sourcing/recruiting experience in the Veterinary or Human Healthcare industries, particularly with support roles (nurses, technicians, physical therapy, etc.) and competitive roles that are difficult to fill.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, Greenhouse a plus.
  • Resultsoriented, quality focused and with a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to connect with people and influence without authority.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting resources, innovative and advanced sourcing techniques to identify talent.
  • Source passive talent through referrals, networking, internet searches, cold calling, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within the company's ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to determine recruitment strategy.
  • Screen applicants for qualifications, availability, interest level, relocation needs, etc.
  • Attend and support both internal and external recruiting events.
  • Maintains networking contacts for sourcing/recruiting future applicants.
  • Responds to inquiries from the general public and prospective applicants regarding job opportunities and qualifications.
  • Promotes Employee Referral Program.
  • Execute campus hiring strategy at target colleges and technician schools across the nation.
  • Attend and manage marketing events such as career fairs, presentations, and other campus events.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
