Pharmacy Technician

Location:
This position is fully on site at King of Prussia, PA


Type:
Temporary


Hours:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 430PM

No License required in PA


Job Summary:


As a Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients.

You will support a variety of functions including (but not limited to) receiving, inventory management and packaging of medications. Our approach to training will enable you to grow your skill sets.


Additional tasks and responsibilities include:


  • Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations that could include: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Emergency Kit Preparation, Restocking Automation and Machine Packaging
  • Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock
  • Performing physical inventories of medication
  • Cycle count the drugs whose on hand quantities need to be verified

Required Qualifications:


  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Prior experience in the longterm care industry preferred
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
  • Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

No Pharmacy Certification/License required for PA
