    Description

    Responsibilities:

    Cultivate and maintain relationships with prospective borrowers to understand their financial needs and goals.

    Educate clients on various mortgage loan products, including conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loans, and guide them through the loan application process.

    Analyze clients' financial information, including credit reports, income documentation, and asset statements, to determine their eligibility for mortgage financing.

    Assist clients in selecting the most appropriate mortgage product based on their financial situation and goals, and provide personalized recommendations.

    Prepare and submit complete and accurate loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other internal teams to facilitate the timely processing and closing of mortgage loans.

    Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the mortgage process, addressing any questions or concerns and providing regular updates on the status of their loan application.

    Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions affecting mortgage lending, and incorporate this knowledge into client interactions and recommendations.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field, with a proven track record of success in originating mortgage loans.

    Strong understanding of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple loan files simultaneously.

    Proficiency in mortgage loan origination software and MS Office suite.
