- 3-5+ years of recent experience in conventional and government underwriting or Quality Assurance experience within the mortgage banking industry/ loan servicing industry
- Experience in RMBS due diligence services and review platforms required
- 3+ years' of experience with Non-QM lending and guidelines
- A strong working knowledge of calculating and verifying income & assets, and evaluating credit reports, purchase contracts, appraisals, title commitments, and other loan pertinent documentation
- In depth working knowledge of AUS systems, including Loan Prospector and Desktop Underwriter
- Must have manual underwriting experience, as well as automated
- Intermediate level user of Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel
- Strong written communication skills
- Business Analyst experience

- Enter review results into company's proprietary software
- Stay current on all agency, state and federal guidelines, and participate in on-going training as industry evolves
- Supervise the Third-Party Due Diligence process required for the sale of Non-Agency funded and purchased loans
- Develop and supervise due diligence reporting
- Point of contact for Diligence firms and Investors during the diligence process
- Identify process/quality improvements based on findings; coordinate implementation of suggested changes with Operations and third-party review firms
- Communicate routine due diligence status updates to the Non-Agency Deal Manager
- Support and assist with other Capital Market/Secondary Marketing projects, analytics and reporting as necessary
