Strategy Analyst Intern - Greenville, United States - World Acceptance
Description
World Finance is excited to host a Strategy Analyst Intern for the summer of 2024. The program will begin in mid May and will last 10-12 weeks. This program will be designed to give interns an opportunity to learn and grow while being assigned meaningful work.This is a great opportunity to gain experience with a large organization that believes in possibilities and helps our customers unlock their financial good.
You will also be able to further your understanding of multiple business functions in our Downtown Greenville headquarters.The Strategy Analyst Intern will be assigned to focus on Analytics business unit.
The Strategy Analyst is responsible for seeking out, investigating, and creating business solutions to drive cost efficiencies and facilitate profitable growth for the company.
This position will require a high level of critical thinking through ambiguous problem solving and will benefit from experience in forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis combined with an understanding of key performance indicators.
Assignments for this Internship may include:Structure an analytical approach for solving ambiguous problems or problems in which there is minimal foundational data.
Recognize areas of opportunity, estimate potential value, and develop strategies or tests to drive results.
Collaborate with multiple departments to automate processes and solve ambiguous problems
Create reports and
utilize
the data to
identify
potential problems and recommend solutions
Impact
the strategy and direction of multiple projects
Education
and/or
Experience
:
Must be a rising Junior or Senior level
undergrad
student, soon to graduate, or an MBA Candidate.
Functional knowledge of relational databases (such as Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Housing/Relocation is not being offered.
