Artech's client is looking to hire a Sales Representative / Associate to join their team in Morristown, NJ. Its a full-time, direct hire role
Job Description
Maintain current customer base; source and develop new revenue for the Company. This includes but is not limited to:
Existing Customer Relationship Management (30%) - Face to face meetings with existing customers to develop and expand the relationship; Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales goals of assigned to existing accounts, and Managing the customer relationship for all areas of the company with these accounts.
New Business Development in targeted industries with targeted products (70%) -
Initiate, Seek Out, and Develop New Prospects for our products and develop relationships.
Must be willing and able to do "cold calling" and grassroots development.
To meet these responsibilities you must be self-motivated, dedicated to making things happen, and excellent at self-managing with time management.
This position requires 30-35% travel and the sales person is expected to be on the road for this amount of time calling on current accounts and developing new business each month after days of training.
Requirements:
· Minimum 1 year experience in sales
· Highly customer focused with ability to develop and execute sales plans
· Must be energetic, highly results driven and able to work in an unsupervised environment
· Ability to prioritize activities and multi-task.
· Strong ability to communicate effectively; written and verbal within the company and with the customer.
· Ability to travel 30 – 35%, both locally and nationwide.
