GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with clients to comprehend their business requirements and formulate technical specifications for cloud-based data solutions.

• Develop and deploy logical and physical data models tailored to the selected cloud or hybrid data warehouse environment.

• Establish data architectures capable of supporting diverse data formats and structures, encompassing structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.

• Contribute to defining future data management and governance architecture, aligning with opportunities for value creation across the organization.

• Perform in-depth technology and system evaluations for architecture solutions.

• Disseminate the company's architectural strategy and direction to both management and systems teams.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential adoption.

• Ensure compliance and risk management adherence within supported areas.

• Uphold standards, policies, methodologies, and industry best practices across applications.

• Collaborate with architects in Data Science and Digital departments to devise data activation frameworks supporting real-time or near-real-time requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse/transformation implementations in the public cloud.

• Profound technical expertise in at least one public cloud service.

• 3-5 years of experience in architecting data and AI solutions on the public cloud.

• In-depth understanding of data architectures leveraging Data Lakehouse/Data Mesh.

• Demonstrated ability to rapidly research, learn, adopt, and apply new technologies.

• Proven track record in crafting cost-effective and performance-oriented architectures aligned with functional/SLA needs.

• Strong SQL and database skills for managing large structured and unstructured data.

• Familiarity with enterprise reporting solutions (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau), data virtualization, and semantic modeling.

• Proficiency in solution development using No-SQL data platforms.

• Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Development, DevSecOps, and common software development tools such as Git and Jira.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying key choices, recommendations, and technology concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) or Terraform.

• Familiarity with Docker and docker orchestration tools such as Docker Compose or Kubernetes.

• Understanding of AI/MLOps concepts.
