- A Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering or a related field.
- A Ph.D. in Battery Sciences or Electrochemical Energy Storage is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, with over 10 years in the battery or electrochemical energy storage sector.
- Over 10 years' experience in the battery industry, with a focus on managing US Government-funded R&D programs.
- Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in technical creativity, proposal writing, and securing program funding.
- In-depth knowledge of battery science and technology advancements.
- Experience in Electrochemistry, Battery Science/Engineering, and Materials Synthesis.
- Familiarity with Electrode Mixing, Coating Processes, and Lithium-Ion Cell Assembly.
- Proficiency with Battery and Electrochemical Testing Equipment.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Cost estimation and client communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and strong communication skills.
- Experience in equipment procurement, setup, and maintenance.
- Training in Design of Experiments or Robust Engineering.
