    Position Overview: The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between dental patients, dentists, and other healthcare staff. They serve as a liaison between patients and the dental practice, facilitating effective communication, scheduling, and treatment planning. The primary responsibility of the Dental Treatment Coordinator is to guide patients through their treatment journey, from initial consultation to post-treatment follow-ups, ensuring a positive and seamless experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Patient Consultation and Education:
      • Welcome patients and conduct initial consultations to understand their dental concerns, needs, and treatment goals.
      • Educate patients about various dental procedures, treatment options, and associated costs.
      • Address patient queries and concerns regarding treatment procedures, insurance coverage, and financing options.
    2. Treatment Planning and Coordination:
      • Collaborate with dentists and specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
      • Schedule appointments for treatments, surgeries, and follow-ups, ensuring optimal utilization of dental resources and minimizing patient wait times.
      • Coordinate with dental laboratory technicians and other healthcare providers to ensure timely delivery of prosthetics, implants, and other dental appliances.
    3. Financial Coordination and Insurance Management:
      • Provide transparent and accurate cost estimates for dental procedures and treatment plans.
      • Verify patient insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits and coverage limitations.
      • Discuss various payment options, financing plans, and assist patients in arranging suitable payment arrangements.
    4. Administrative Duties:
      • Maintain accurate patient records, treatment logs, and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and practice protocols.
      • Manage appointment schedules, send appointment reminders, and follow up with patients to ensure adherence to treatment plans.
      • Assist in coordinating referrals to specialists and managing patient referrals from other healthcare providers.
    5. Patient Care and Support:
      • Provide compassionate support and guidance to patients throughout their treatment journey, addressing their concerns and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
      • Follow up with patients post-treatment to assess treatment outcomes, address any post-operative concerns, and schedule necessary follow-up appointments.
