    (P) 8:00a-4:30p (S) 8:30a-5:00p


    GENERAL SUMMARY:


    The Registered Nurse has responsibilities that include triage intake, processing of patients, education, management of telephone calls, review of lab/test results and insuring follow-up of patient care.

    AHA-BLS certification is required - however, certification is not a qualifying factor to obtain the position.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Skills Required:

    • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
    • Prior ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
    • Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
    • AHA-BLS is required within 6 months of hire or a current non-AHA-BLS card will be honored up to date of renewal.
    • Triage experience required.

    As applicable, the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
