Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery.

You will assess patients, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery room.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assess and monitor patients' condition postsurgery
Administer medications and treatments as needed
Monitor vital signs and manage pain
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Qualifications and Skills:

Current RN license
BLS and ACLS certification
Previous experience working in a PACU or critical care setting preferred
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
