    IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 15 million students worldwide, is seeking an up-and-coming IT professional to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will join a team focused on making the lives of our coworkers easier by providing them with the technology they need to do their jobs. You'll troubleshoot laptop issues, be asked to support numerous cloud apps, become an integral part of the onboarding process, and assist in completing IT projects. You should love experimenting with new technologies, enjoy helping your coworkers, and be unintimidated by juggling multiple projects. #LI-JR1

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Manage all Windows and macOS computers in our San Mateo, Raleigh, and Harrisonburg offices
  • Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and support of all software, hardware, and operating systems #LI-ONSITE
  • Assist with onboarding by setting up new accounts and hardware
  • Provide timely responses for issues raised in our Slack channels
  • Must have familiarity with MDM technology (Intune and JAMF)
  • Research and resolve employee support tickets involving hardware, software, and malware in an efficient and timely manner
  • Provide training to improve user awareness of all IT services and best practices
  • Administration of GSuite workspace, Vonage phone system, Azure/Entra services, asset management through Snipe-IT
  • WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • BA/BS degree
  • 1-3 years in an IT support environment
  • Experience with Windows 10 or greater and macOS
  • Experience with MDM
  • Experience troubleshooting complicated systems and problems
  • Eager to learn Linux and related technologies
  • Excellent writing/documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with small teams
  • Experience with iOS/Android/Linux a plus
