    LVI Associates is partnered with a reputable engineering firm known for delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

    With a focus on excellence, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join their dynamic team.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and managing bridge design projects, ensuring the highest standards of engineering quality and client satisfaction.


    Position Overview:


    As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of bridge structures, overseeing project teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex bridge projects.

    This role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, proficiency in design software, and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Bridge Design and Analysis:
    Lead the design and analysis of various bridge structures, including reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel bridges.
    Utilize advanced engineering software and tools to perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and codes.


    Project Management:
    Manage and oversee bridge design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
    Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including geotechnical, transportation, and environmental engineers, to integrate bridge designs into overall project plans.


    Technical Leadership:
    Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring the application of best practices in bridge design.
    Mentor and train junior engineers to enhance their skills and capabilities.


    Quality Assurance:
    Review and approve design calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
    Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the design process.


    Client Interaction:
    Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing technical inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
    Collaborate with clients to understand project objectives, requirements, and expectations.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master's degree is a plus.
    Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
    Minimum of 8 years of experience in bridge design engineering.
    Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, MIDAS, etc.).
    Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, etc.).
    Excellent project management and organizational skills.
    Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
