$80,000 to $95,000 USD Annually
iXsystems is looking for a Supervisor, Quality Assurance to join our Quality team This position will report to the Director of Quality.
As a supervisor at iXsystems, you will be instrumental in upholding the quality standards of our products and services. If you're enthusiastic about managing quality assurance processes, meticulously addressing customer issues and escalations, conducting thorough investigations, and spearheading effective resolutions, then this position may be a great fit for youThis is an in-office role based out of our San Jose, CA office.
Base Pay Range
The base pay range of this position is $80,000 to $95,000 USD Annually.
Additional compensation through the Incentive Bonus Program is available for this position.
Please note that the provided range reflects the pay spectrum for positions within the same job category as the one to which this position belongs.
The final offer will consider various factors, such as location, education, and prior experience, to ensure a comprehensive and fair compensation assessment.

The Day-to-DayThe Quality Supervisor is responsible for providing strong leadership to effectively supervise and guide quality inspectors, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices; providing guidance, training, and support to inspectors, fostering their professional growth, and maintaining a high standard of work.
The Quality Supervisor will conduct comprehensive analysis and assessments of manufacturing performance. They will address non-conformance issues, comprehensively, investigating supplier and customer concerns with a keen focus on resolutions.They will oversee product compliance certification processes and collaborate with certification bodies, assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards and procedures, and also contribute to the development and implementation of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
The essential functions and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Supervising Responsibilities:
Coordinate team activities, schedules, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Manufacturing Performance and Quality Analysis:
Prepare and present reports on quality metrics, trends, and performance to management.
Identify opportunities for improvement by data-driven decision-making to enhance business processes, and product and software quality.
Handling Non-Conformance Issues:
Lead investigations into quality incidents, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Compliance and Certification:
Ensure adherence to compliance measures, including factory-related aspects, within the manufacturing environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced product quality and regulatory compliance.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing and business functions.
Participate in the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and methodologies.
Quality Management Systems:
Conduct regular audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and business processes.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) and 3-5 years of quality control or quality assurance supervisory experience and/or quality engineering experienceProficiency in quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
Experience in team leadership, audits, data analysis, and creating quality documentation
Proficiency in conducting data analysis, monitoring quality metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and reporting to support continuous quality improvement
Capability to create and maintain comprehensive quality documentation and records to meet company and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols and practices
Strong communication and reporting abilities to convey quality insights to management
