    Quality Assurance Manager
    McNeal Enterprises, Inc.


    Company Profile:
    Since 1976, McNeal Enterprises has been a leader in custom machined, fabricated, and thermoformed plastic components. We are a full-service custom plastic component machine shop. We offer services including material selection, design for manufacturability, metal to plastic conversion, and prototyping.
    We supply semiconductor, healthcare, industrial and related companies with our products and services.
    We operate in a 62,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in San Jose, CA.


    Duties & Responsibilities:
    Work closely and communicate effectively with all functional areas to achieve product quality and production goals

    Develop quality plan for all new parts to ensure conformance to specifications

    Responsible for ensuring production and quality assurance meets ISO9001 standards, as well as lead ISO9001 audits and audit reports

    Manage and lead the company's first article inspection program

    Ensure production quality control and operating protocols are maintained to prevent defects

    Communicate directly with senior management and customers about part quality requirements

    Publish weekly key metrics reports

    Train staff members on the quality control processes and policies

    Manage Customer Quality Complaints and perform Root Cause and Corrective Action utilizing 8D methodologies

    Liaison with clients to coordinate returns, corrective actions and quality concerns

    Maintain/develop 5S programs for special processes

    Utilize inspection equipment including CMM, hand tools, and optical inspection equipment

    4+ years as a quality manager in machining or related industry

    Effective leadership, team building, and communication skills

    Proficient computer skills including knowledge of ERP systems, CAD/CAM, CMM, Excel, etc.

    Knowledge of ISO9001, and/or prior experience managing ISO9001 audits

    Recommended - related degree or education in fields such as quality assurance / management, manufacturing, or engineering
