    Description

    As a Guest Experience Guide ('GEG'), you will be supporting the fun, engaging, efficient and safe movement of guests through the attraction. As GEG you will have the opportunity to build your skillset with the opportunity to wear multiple hats as a Flight Guide, Sales Reservationist, Entry Scanner, Photographer, Retail Agent and Ticket Seller. You will have engaging interactions with our guests by bringing your best and anticipating guests' needs while following FlyOver standards and operating procedures. The Guest Experience Guides should always strive to represent both FlyOver Las Vegas as well as maintain a positive attitude and a safe environment for all guest and team members.

    This role is based in Las Vegas, NV, and legal ability to work in the United States is required.

    This wage for this position is $16ph, and a full breakdown of benefits and perks will be provided during the interview process.

    Reporting to the Guest Experience Supervisor team, your duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Greeting guests and answering questions in a welcoming and positive manner.
    • Ensuring accurate information is provided to guests; ensuring guest expectations in terms of experience, price, restrictions and content.
    • Taking and editing photos of guests, while being knowledgeable about the photo packages and backgrounds.
    • Cash handling and reconciliation.
    • Organizing large groups of people into correct queues, while calculating and communicating accurate wait time information.
    • Directing guests around the different areas of the attraction and assisting them onto the iRide gondolas.
    • Ensuring all ride and facility safety precautions are met and informing the Operator and Supervisors of any concerns.
    • Lead by example to ensure FlyOver Las Vegas operating procedures, safety of guests and team members, and service standards are consistently maintained by all team members.
    • Communicate efficiently using proper radio protocol.
    • Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.
    • Share knowledge with guests about Las Vegas and other tourist attractions around the venue.

    • Experience in the tourism/hospitality industry an asset
    • Cash handling experience an asset
    • Public speaking experience an asset
    • Fluency in a second language in addition to English is an asset

    The FlyOver attractions team brings new attractions to life and oversees existing operations. FlyOver, the Ultimate Flying Ride, utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. You hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while our film whisks you away on an exhilarating journey across some of the world's most iconic landscapes. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents, combine with the ride's motion to create an unforgettable experience. Currently, there are FlyOver's located in Vancouver, B.C., Reykjavik, Iceland, Las Vegas Nevada and coming soon – in Toronto and Chicago. Several future FlyOver locations are proposed and are in the development stage.
