    Description

    Drake Cooper is seeking a midweight creative team – a Copywriter and an Art Director – to join our creative department. This team will collaborate closely to develop and execute a full range of creative concepts that align with our clients' objectives. The ideal candidates will possess a blend of artistic vision, exemplary writing skills, and the ability to transform ideas into powerful visual and verbal narratives.

    Preference will be given to Los Angeles-based candidates but we will consider candidates remote from WA & OR. The client is a Fortune 50 Energy Company.

    Salary: $70,000 - $120,000 for each position

    Responsibilities:

    • Concept Development: Work together to brainstorm and conceptualize creative solutions for campaigns, ensuring they meet client briefs and objectives.
    • Art Direction: The Art Director will lead the visual aspect of the project, including the design and production of the visual elements, ensuring the visuals effectively communicate the desired message.
    • Copywriting: The Copywriter will craft compelling and engaging copy that complements the visual elements, effectively communicates the campaign's message, and resonates with the target audience.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with the rest of the team, including strategists, graphic designers, account leads, producers, and web developers, to ensure a cohesive and integrated campaign.
    • Presentation: Together, present concepts and final executions to stakeholders, clearly articulating the creative vision behind the ideas.
    • Project Management: Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on brief.

    Qualifications:

    The team must have worked together for at least two years or more.

    • For Art Director:
      • Proven experience as an Art Director or in a similar creative role.
      • Strong portfolio showcasing high-level conceptual thinking and exceptional design skills.
      • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
    • For Copywriter:
      • Proven experience as a Copywriter or related role in advertising or digital media.
      • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio demonstrating a range of writing styles.
    • Common Qualifications:
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
      • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
      • Passion for storytelling and creating engaging content.
