Description

A freelance creative writer with SEO experience is needed for an aesthetic medical practice, its affiliated medical products - device company, and all its web platforms.


Must be skilled in search engine performance auditing and analysis and the ability to leverage data in influencing future SEO and SEM strategies.

Should have expert-level skills in creating and editing graphics with Photoshop, adobe pro, and video editing software. Experience in podcasting is an advantage.


PAYMENT TERMS:

For this freelance remote work, payment is 15-20 cents per word of each copy after it has been approved and posted on its destination platform (websites, social media, brochures, pamphlets etc).


Responsibilities:


  • Research industryrelated topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
  • Prepare wellstructured drafts using Content Management Systems
  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
  • Submit work to editors for input and approval
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
  • Promote content on social media
  • Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
  • Ensure allaround consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
  • Pitch stories to reporters and secure newsworthy exposure for the brand
  • Update website content as needed

Skills:


  • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, Publicist, or similar role
  • Portfolio of published articles
  • Graphics (Photoshop adobe illustrator etc)
  • Experience doing research using multiple sources
  • Familiarity with web publications
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
  • Handson experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • BSc in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field
Must be physically located in the greater Los Angeles area or Long Beach area to qualify.

$ $28.00 per hour
