- Assist the Benefits Analyst with all aspects of an associate's leave
- Communicate with associates regarding their leave needs and/or modified work needs
- Work with vendor and HR partners to ensure that associates are aware of their responsibilities and of any documentation needed to qualify for a leave
- Respond to all associate and field HR inquiries related to leaves using the HR ticketing system
- Take necessary action throughout all aspects of an associate's leave
- Create and distribute LOA reports for business partners as needed
- Coordinate and communicate with vendor and associates on leave to help facilitate a smooth and timely return to work
- Recommend revisions to company leave policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; stay abreast of all applicable leave and accommodation laws
- Responsible to complete all wage and data requests related to leaves and other benefit plans
- Review and resolve daily integration errors
- Back-up for new hire benefit orientation
- Assist with the open enrollment process
- Provide support to the Benefits team on projects and other ad-hoc requests as needed, and support general inquiries on all benefit plans
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma
- 1-3 years experience in benefits and leave administration
- Experience working in retail industry a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be proactive in identifying problems and escalating them
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
