Job Summary:
Responsible for day to day administration of the company's leave of absence programs (FMLA, medical, personal, military, and long term disability).
Responds to employee questions; liaises with disability vendors and payroll department.Responsibilities:
KEY TASKS:
Administers Leave of Absence programs for Children's Place associates including:Determine Associate eligibility and leave type (FMLA, medical, personal, military, etc.)Process and approve Associate leave requestsCoordinate with Payroll and HRIS regarding paid time off, payroll deductions, and Associate status changesCoordinate with disability vendors and government agenciesFacilitate Associate's return to workCommunicates and counsels associates regarding plan provisions, policies and procedures.
Coordinates with Payroll and HRIS regarding associates' paid time off issues.
Screens Benefit Hotline Calls and forwards to appropriate party to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution. Escalates problems to Benefits Manager as appropriate.
Administers company programs for:
Matching GiftsTuition Reimbursement (to be moved to Benefits Admin in Glendale)
Gym reimbursements (to be moved to Benefits Admin in Glendale)TransitChekConducts New Hire Benefits Orientation for Corporate Office (Secaucus)Facilitates Workers Compensation claim cycle including:
Reporting claims to Insurance CarrierMonitoring life of claim from incidence to resolutionCoordinate Workers Comp claim with Leave of Absence process (If applicable)Facilitate Associate, insurance carrier and payroll issuesKNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THE JOB:3 plus years' experience in LOA Administration or as a HR GeneralistFamiliarity with federal and state Family and Medical leave requirementsProficiency with MS Excel & WordExperience with Human Resource Information SystemsLawson experience a plusStrong organizational skillsGood interpersonal and communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
