    Description


    An asset management firm located in New York City is actively seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join their staff as their new Finance & Operations Manager.

    In this role, the Finance & Operations Manager will be responsible for managing, reviewing, and participating in the entire fund operations and reporting process.


    Responsibilities The Finance & Operations Manager will:
    Prepare and review Fund quarterly reporting in accordance with US GAAP - Investment Company Accounting and IFRS for internal reporting Manage the external audit and tax reporting processes with big 4 firms Oversee accounting and reporting process for foreclosure properties Oversee and manage third-party fund administrator Oversee and manage accountant Work with tax, deal legal and investment team to ensure proper structuring of deals and related tracking and reporting internally and to partners Compile, analyze, and prepare financial data and operating metrics for quarterly review presentations submitted to senior management Prepare and review quarterly forecast Assist FP&A on annual business plan information which includes actual, forecasted and projected financials, strategic initiatives and industry cycle overview Prepare and/or review management fee and waterfall calculations Qualifications Undergraduate degree 5+ years of accounting experience Proficiency with computer platforms and applications Ability to multitask Excellent communication skills Highly organized Strong interpersonal skills
