    The scope of work involves providing system administration duties and technical engineering and lifecycle support services across the NAVWAR Information Technology (IT) Tools Portfolio for the SYSCOM Acquisition Integrated Logistics Online Repository (SAILOR). SAILOR is a self-help (tier 0) website which streamlines and accelerates electronic technical data content delivery to the warfighter to enable them to proficiently operate, maintain, and repair mission critical systems. It is a centralized repository that provides both classified and unclassified final-issue technical content such as to system specific configuration information, final issue technical and NAVWAR IT Tools Technical Engineering and Lifecycle Support Services logistics documents, security updates, Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) interface (read only) and "How To" videos. SAILOR provides a single point of entry to retrieve system support information for NAVWAR programs of record.

    This opportunity requires system administration, technical engineering services and program lifecycle support services to maintain, modify, deploy, and sustain the IT Tools Portfolio. This includes business analysis, requirements development, database architecture and development, User Interface (UI) design, project and release management, configuration management, software architecture, design and engineering, testing, sustainment engineering, graphic design, technical writing, technical data maintenance services, training, and other user support services.

    The candidate will perform system administration, engineering reviews of technical data, analysis and development of potential solutions for IT Tools Portfolio modernization; provide subject matter expertise and interact with NAVWAR stakeholders. Through the life of this task order, the candidate is encouraged to continuously seek ways to incorporate innovative and emerging technologies that, in the most economic and efficient manner, improve the IT Tools Portfolio. Specific responsibilities, qualifications, and duties included below.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • System Administration
    • Strong problem-solving, research capabilities, time management, and task prioritization.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and with the team.
    • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as physical labor is required.
    • Ability to work in San Diego; telework option with limited on-site support at government labs in San Diego, CA.

    Basic Qualifications

    • US citizenship with DoD Secret Security Clearance.
    • Active Security+ and Linux+ certifications or the ability to acquire certifications within an established timeframe once hired.
    • Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
    • 3+ Years of professional experience in Help Desk / IT Support.
    • 3+ Years of professional experience with Linux or Unix.
    • 3+ Years of professional experience with Bash Scripting and Command-Line.
    • 3+ Years of professional experience with Windows 10 or later.
    • 2+ Years of professional experience with Active Directory

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $68, $124,550.00

    The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
