    Description

    We are a fast-paced global engineering company with a great reputation in the Department of Defense industry (DoD) for over 20 years.

    Typically, on-site work will be 2-3 days per week.
    Maintain system patches, as well as operating system, in accordance with Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance.
    Administrate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Window or Linux-based workstations, enterprise IT servers, systems software requirements, and analytical support.
    Provide guidance, assistance, coordination, and follow-up on complex problems and ensure resolution.
    Work with application developers and operations to support production applications

    Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, resource monitoring and resolution, while ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.

    Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliability of cloud hosted EC2 instances, including proactively improving AWS infrastructure.
    Identify the need for and provide new patches, upgrades, configurations, or new instances.
    Currently hold an active SECRET clearance
    CompTIA Security+ Certified
    Linux operating systems (i.e., Windows Server Operating Systems (i.e., Virtual machines (i.e., VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V)
    Cloud computing infrastructure (i.e., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure)
    Automation and Scripting (i.e., Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.)
    Cloud infrastructure management tools (i
