    The Sales Executive is responsible for assisting the Business Manager with meeting the revenue goals of Spinnaker Media.

    This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may be asked to perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Spinnaker. The Sales Executive will:
    • Generate new sales leads;
    • Promote Spinnaker's various advertising products and services to new and existing clients;
    • Track the progress and completion of sales from introduction to payment for publication and provide clients with proof of performances;
    • Generate invoices and receipts for underwriting and ad buys;
    • Help track advertising, sponsorship, and creative services revenue to ensure all media outlets' continued financial solvency and stability;
    • Be familiar with Spinnaker Media advertising policies, including ad dimensions, deadlines, and discounts.

    Required Qualifications
    Must be a current UNF student.
    • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Must be available for a minimum of 10 hours during business hours to address clients' or staffers' inquiries and concerns.
    • Must be continuously enrolled at UNF for the duration of the position and not be on academic probation or suspension as defined by the most recent University of North Florida course catalog.
    • This position requires strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn about media business practices.
