    Senior Cloud Engineer (Remote)

    We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Senior Cloud Engineer to join a leading cybersecurity organization in the healthcare space.

    The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions that meet the organization's strategic objectives.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud technologies, a strong background in infrastructure automation, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex cloud projects.


    Location:
    Remote working Eastern Time Zone hour
    This job expects to pay about $70 – 80 per hour plus benefits.

    What You Will Do:
    Lead the design and architecture of cloud infrastructure solutions, that are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost optimized.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop comprehensive cloud architecture designs for cloud migration projects.

    Evaluate new cloud services, tools, and technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing our cloud environment.

    Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies to automate provisioning and configuration processes.

    Manage and optimize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
    Monitor cloud resources and services, analyze performance metrics, and implement optimizations to improve resource utilization and reduce costs.

    What Gets You The Job:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.

    7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud infrastructure solutions.

    Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and multi-cloud environments.
    Expertise in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
    Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
    Fluency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
    Extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
    Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.
    Experience with serverless computing technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
    Experience with big data technologies those include Hadoop, Spark and Kafka.
