    This individual will assist in project coordination of an extensive and varied event project portfolio ranging from but not limited to, Corporate and Agency Events, Custom Exhibitions, Conferences, Meetings and Sporting Events.

    The Associate Client Services Manager will assist with coordination of live event production by providing event related administrative and functional support to the GES Events Group.

    Position requires a self-starter with attention to detail, the ability to handle frequently changing timelines and capability to analyze data as needed.

    This position will report directly to the Associate Director of Client Services.


    This is a hybrid position, but must be within reasonable driving distance to a local GES office for on-site meetings.

    Responsibilities


    • Supporting the Lead Client Services Managers on mid to large scale events
    • Creation and distribution of work orders and graphic orders, and floorplan requests as necessary
    • Serve as backup/out of office support to the Events Team
    • Generates reports and invoices for the team as needed
    • Serve as event support, either in the office or on-site, as needed by Client Services Managers
    • Collaborates with Client Services Manager in gathering of information to manage client expectations
    • Basic understanding of pricing models/estimation, budget management
    • Adhere to all Business Standard Operating Procedures
    • Assist with developing and managing production timelines
    • Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary under the direction of the Associate Director of Client Services
    Qualifications


    • College degree preferred, 0-3 years experience in events or hospitality industry or similar experience preferred
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams at all levels of management
    • Ability to work well both independently and with a team
    • Familiarity with web-based project management software and Microsoft Office 365
    • Ability to foster customer relationships
    • Willingness to potentially travel 30%
    • Basic accounting and budget knowledge
    • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
    Work Environment


    • Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • Opportunity to work nights, weekends and at showsite
    • Position may require long hours during several months of the year
    • Typically performs work on the event floor, in noisy and crowded areas
    • Frequently encounters uncomfortable temperatures, dust and/or other conditions
    • Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere
    • Requires working with union and non-union employees
