Job Overview
The Event Sales Director for Electric Playhouse's Las Vegas location will be responsible for leading the sales efforts for the venue and ensuring the success of all events. This includes prospecting new business, managing relationships with existing clients, managing a diverse range of event bookings, and ensuring the success of every event.
Key Responsibilities
Lead sales efforts for a variety of events including group sales, private parties, weddings, networking events, team-building activities, and filming projects.
Develop and implement strategies to identify and exploit new venue rental opportunities within the Las Vegas market, focusing on conferences and special events.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, customizing event packages to meet their specific needs while promoting the unique aspects of our venue.
Prepare and manage detailed event budgets to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.
Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
Monitor expenses and revenue streams related to sales and event activities to maximize financial outcomes.
Conduct tours for potential clients, showcasing the venue's capabilities and discussing tailored event options.
Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of the Las Vegas market, particularly in relation to conferences, special events, and entertainment venues.
Demonstrated experience in sales and event management, with a proven track record of managing diverse event types in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Strong leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing a sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding client service.
Proficient in CRM software and sales tracking tools, with a strong aptitude for managing financials and analytical reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
