    CRi employees are responsible for collaborating and working hand in hand with a diverse team of dedicated staff who support people in achieving their goals and dreams

    CRi is hiring a Virginia Credentialed Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP-A) for our Mental Health program in Arlington, VA.

    They are responsible for assisting individuals to achieve maximum independence through the delivery of services outlined in their plan and provides supportive counseling, training, and community integration/engagement to individuals with a mental health diagnoses.

    Interact with government, community agencies and individuals to develop consumer network referral base.
    Mentor CRi mental health staff to develop professional skills and assist in staff retention.
    Work as a team member, maintaining effective inter and intra-agency working relationships.
    Work independently, performing position duties under general supervision.
    Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing (e.g., Maintain all clinical and programmatically required documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations, insurance agencies and/or CRi policies.
    attends professional training and seminars related to work in the mental health field.


    AVAILABLE SHIFT:
    Sunday 7am-10pm (15hrs) Part Time Shift
    Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm (40hrs) Full Time

    Must be registered and in good standing with the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Counseling as a QMHP-A or must be a LMFT, LSATP or LPC in good standing in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

    The nature of serious mental illness in adults.

    Treatment modalities and intervention techniques, such behavior management, independent living skills training, supportive counseling, family education, crisis intervention, discharge planning and service coordination.

    Clinical assessments and their use in service planning.
    Local community resources and service delivery systems.
    The service planning process and major components of a service plan.
