    Your Role and Impact

    The Education Sales Development Representative team conducts sales calls and creates opportunities with ViewSonic secondary education accounts. In addition, the team follows up on all lead generation and participates in outbound lead generation programs to develop channel demand. The team is also responsible for account management activities directed to their assigned accounts and to provide supporting sales activities to their assigned sales territories with an emphasis on building relationships and rapport within their assigned accounts.

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    • Conduct daily outbound calls to assigned resellers within the North East Region to engage them with ViewSonic and make them more productive.
    • Identify revenue opportunities within partner base through communication, programs and other activities needed.
    • Build strong business relationships with Field Sales and Channel Partners.
    • Pro-actively establish relationships and provide ViewSonic product, promotion, sales support.
    • Respond to inquiries and "mine" non-identified education accounts (un-washed) within SDR's designated geography.
    • Team up with Field Sales in assigned territories to progress all sales opportunities.
    • Qualify, nurture, distribute and manage end-user opportunities from trade shows, inbound marketing campaigns and outbound call campaigns to appropriate accounts within the SDR's education customer base or through ViewSonic geographic based Channel resellers within their defined geography.
    • Maintain all assigned reseller account and opportunity information within
    • Communicate market conditions internally.
    • Work with Product Managers to gain key market and customer insight.
    • Proactively contact customers with any new sales opportunities and promotion activities
    • May attend trade shows or visit customers on site when required by Sales Management
    • May perform other projects and duties assigned.

    Your Profile

    • High school diploma or equivalent, 4-year college degree preferred.
    • 2 - 3 years of experience with inside sales and preferably with technology and electronics industry.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and conducting professional online meeting/webinars.
    • The ability to understand and comprehend new technology innovations and market them to new and existing customers.
    • Must be able to work independently and prioritize both revenue generating and non-revenue generating activities.
    • Strong ability to actively listen and determine customer needs.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks.
    • Highly motivated, high energy, "can do" attitude, competitive self-starter with keen sense of urgency.
    • Experience with highly desirable.
