    Job Description:

    The Finance Payroll Lead is responsible for the strategy, design, and delivery of a global Payroll transformation program to build a sustainable Payroll delivery model across people, process, and technology to manage the work at a global scale.

    The Payroll Lead will partner with key Finance, HR, IT, Market Leaders and other stakeholders to determine Payroll transformation timelines, scope, processes, and requirements across markets to ensure the transformation delivers the right functionality & operations to drive business objectives.

    Responsibilites

    • Define & oversee Payroll transformation program roadmap and program plan, integrating closely with ongoing functional transformation initiatives (e.g., HR, Finance)
    • Manage overall Payroll transformation team, spanning McDonald's and third-party support resources
    • Define and socialize the future state global payroll operating model strategy with Market, Finance, and HR leaders
    • Facilitate sourcing discussions related to future state Payroll delivery & technology solutions
    • Oversee design of leading practice Payroll processes to meet McDonald's business needs
    • Partner with key Finance, IT, HR, and business stakeholders to document business & technical requirements to implement Payroll technology solutions that enable leading practice processes
    • Support the efforts with IT teams to ensure efficient Payroll system integration between the core Finance & HR systems
    • Serve as the solutions expert and coordinate with the project team during key phases of the program
    • Work closely with the key stakeholders to identify Payroll reporting/analytics needs to develop and enhanced capabilities as needed
    • Support definition of change management plan specific to Payroll transformation
    • Conduct regular review of the Payroll solution and its ability to meet business needs and facilitate effective and efficient Payroll processes
    • Support in identification, escalation, and mitigation of program risks, partnering with other functional teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies
    Qualifications:
    • 10+ years with demonstrated experience deploying Payroll processes, operating models, and systems in large multinational organizations
    • Ability to effectively communicate and work with management both within and outside of Finance
    • Ability to develop / maintain strong business relationships with executive leaders
    • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
    • Strong knowledge of Payroll solutions to identify areas for optimization
    • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Proven project management experience; ability to balance multiple initiatives and project timelines and prioritize responsibilities
    • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
