Apr 29, 2024- Supervisor: Michelle Johnson, Director of Administration- Program(s): Organizational Administrative Team- Compensation: $17+ hourly based on experience and education- _ Individuals with exceptional expertise and experience may be considered for higher compensation, responsibilities and hours.
_- Hours: 20+ Hours weekly
- Preferred schedule includes Wednesdays and Fridays during daytime business hours. Some hybrid of remote and inperson work is possible.
- Primary responsibility:
- Administrative support to R CITY Directors to facilitate R CITY operational growth and excellence
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Primary responsibility for executing income processing and corresponding data entry.
- Process bank income deposits and enter into platforms and/or databases to insure accurate financial and donor records.
- Reconcile donor database system with general ledger (reconciled by accountant to bank account).
- Support Director of Administration in generation and mailing of quarterly tax receipts.
- Preparing and sending invoices.
- Human Resources: Supplemental responsibility to the Director of Administration for accurate and confidential record keeping.
- Gather HR paperwork at hirings for payroll setup
- Gather timecards and deliver to accountant to process payroll
- Assist with employee HR record keeping making updates to system records as directed with confidentiality.
- Development: Supplemental responsibility to R CITY Directors for strong organizational communication and marketing.
- Make initial contact with recruited volunteers and development toward first engagement (secure background checks, scheduling, training, and starting in role)
- With fundraising team, support ongoing contact to provide strong donor relationships, requests, and recognition
- Serve as secondary point to Assemble/mail USPS appeals according to communications plan
- Serve as secondary point of contact to assist in fundraising events and periodic community events, including assistance with volunteer communication.
- Assist with seasonal website updates
- Maintain accurate calendar of programs, meetings, team trainings, partner appointments, and approved PTO
- Assist with providing onsite, real time data entry of program engagements.
- Attend all R CITY staff meetings and comply with all written and spoken policies, procedures, and expectations
- Communicate clearly and honestly with team to ensure high levels of trust and clarity
- Required Qualifications:
- 2 years' experience working in nonprofit administration (or similar administrative experience)
- Strong ability to track and correct administrative details with appropriate levels of confidentiality
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in using Salesforce to manage accounts, contacts and opportunities.
- Strong ability to balance the flexibility required for urban youth work and adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience working with urban and/or multi-cultural teams
- Awareness of traumainformed principles
- Working knowledge of Paypal, Dext, Gusto, Divvy/Bill, or ability to quickly learn new online platforms
Salary:
$17 - $20 per hour
