    Position Description:

    The Medical Residency Program Coordinator IV will provide a high-level of facilitation and coordination for the Neurosurgery and PM&R fellowships and student rotator programs. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist with all faculty recruiting, hiring, and promotions in the departments of Neurological Surgery and Physical Medicine & Rehab at the direction of the Faculty Affairs Manager. The Coordinator will also facilitate all daily operations pertaining to the program director(s) of multiple Neurosurgical and PM&R programs.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate the PM&R and Neurosurgery fellowships including, but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, systems data entry, scheduling, and all daily tasks associated with the accreditation. Ensure the ACGME SCIM Fellowship (PM&R) follows the ACGME fellowship guidelines to maintain and retain accreditation. Ensure the CAST Fellowships (Neurosurgery) follows the CAST fellowship guidelines to maintain and retain accreditation.
    • Direct and coordinate with the department grants manager grant applications for fellowships, including proposals, budgets, course plans, and faculty information.
    • Coordinate and facilitation of all student interest inquiries for both PM&R and Neurosurgery residencies, including correspondence, scheduling, and systems tracking.
    • Coordinate and facilitate faculty recruiting, hiring and promotions at the direction of the Faculty Affairs Manager.
    • Train and lead all new administrative staff on the departments processes and procedures. Provide active feedback on daily tasks to ensure a smooth transition for team member(s).
    • Provide high-level administrative support to the program directors, including but not limited to, maintaining appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel; transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. Provide administrative support to all other assigned faculty. Coordinate all aspects of travel for all assigned faculty. Review and coordinate incoming correspondence and respond to routine inquiries.
    • Act at the program liaison with associated University departments, community groups/agencies, and vendors.
    • Additional duties as assigned.
    Target Compensation Maximum:
    $31.38
    Target Compensation Minimum:
    $20.92
    Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
